On the Kuskokwim River in Western Alaska yesterday there was a commercial fish opening for salmon, heres a few shots of the fisherman selling their fish to the buyer.

These are awesome pics warptman, thanks for posting them.

I'm just a little confused having never seen the boats all lined up like that before, are they in a queue to get to the wharf?

Yes, they had two lines yesterday. They get unloaded one at a time. They put the fish into a net and weigh them and pay them on how many pounds they caught. The people tied up on the outside of the line keep their outboards in forward to keep the current from tearing them off the inside boat.

These are some great shots!! How much do they sell fish for in Alaska? I see a lot of sellers, but not many buyers.
