Well I was suppose to work at Heavenly Ski Resort in South Lake Tahoe, CA for 5 months but when I turn up and go through everything and start working I figure out that they missed a few crucial things out in the job description. So I couldn't work there as I quit my other job for reasons in the job I had over there which didn't turn out to be true! (hope you got all of that:)

Anyway my trip ended up being a 2 week holiday, absoultley loved it, by far the best place I've ever been too and could easily relocate there. Reno and South Lake Tahoe are for me perfect places to live. Anyway here are some photos I took from the trip. I left New Zealand on the 9th of December and left the USA on the 24th of December and arrived back on the 26th. With me at the young age of 18 I cannot wait togo back.

My first look at San Francisco during my 6 hour wait for a flight to Reno

I lived in South Lake for 2 years back in 1997-99, and actually worked at Heavenly for a few months... I was there the day Sonny Bono skied into a tree, believe it or not. Anyway, thanks for posting the beautiful pictures - brought back some great memories! I have a bunch of good pics from when I lived there, but they're in hard copies... I'll have to scan them if I get a chance.
