sanspeur,

No doubt Victoria is one of the prettiest, cozy, romantic cities. I spent my childhood summers there but taste for nature is acquired thru age. My hometown Vancouver has beautiful cherry blossoms and sea and mountains. My dad choose to live in Calgary b/c of the banff mountains and Lake Louise. Where I am now, Ottawa is extremely romantic and clean. Quebec city is the cutest euro city out there! We do live in a paradise when it is summer.

Yet I am still looking to relocate to LA for a warm beach!

Great pics, everyone! I've always wanted to visit Victoria, btw, and now I see it really is beautiful. Here are some pictures (taken by myself) of my hometown, the beautiful city by the bay, San Francisco...

First Baker Beach - took most of these yesterday, when it was rather overcast & near sunset.

My dog Rudy

This one was taken last December, a much sunnier day! Our seasons here are very confused, LOL.

San Francisco Certainly is gorgeous...Years ago I took a month and did a road trip following the coast from Canada to Mexico...There is a lot of beauty almost all the way...Darned crooked highway though.

Here are a few pictures of one of my favorite hiking trails around Thetis Lake.

Adorable dog, sanspeur... and beautiful scenery too! Here are some more urban shots of San Francisco:

City Hall & Civic Center

Downtown during Pride

A typical sight in San Fran, LOL...

Murals from different neighborhoods (they're everywhere)

The Mission District

Some Victorian homes

Chinatown

And finally, the Haight district
