That's Canadian hawkweed, but not native to Alaska. Bees love it. Pretty, though...

Thanks for sharing. They are all over the interior of Alaska, and like you said, quite beautiful. I took a bunch of photos where some bees seemed to burry themselves in the petals the like there was no tomorrow.
