Way down here we call them Crepe Myrtles. Ours are mostly gone for the season now. I have one like this and also a variegated one in my yard. Now I see it spelled Crape Myrtles too but that way sounds kind of stinky to me....
You have a lovely photo here. Nice detail in the subject. You may be a 1/2 stop over exposed but still over all a good shot.
