I thought this might be an interesting thread to revive.

I'm the child in this photo - and to this day, this is the perpetual expression on my face! Always on high alert, and a bit inappropriate!



My poor parents had no idea what they were in for...with each other, or with me!

Default 1976, Saint Charles, IA.
Traveled from Organ, NM to Madison County, Iowa with my folks. They had not been back since 1949. I would be in the hoosegow in Winterset several hours after this photo was taken....
