Nice monshot -- what camera and lens did you use?

(I've taken a few moonshots myself in the past, but never really pursued Lunar and planetary imaging.)

My husband took the shots,we have a Sony Cybershot DSC 5 megapixels.

For a point and shoot camera, that's great detail on the moon.

Usually, when you think of moon shots, you think of tripods, DSLRs, long telephoto lenses with extenders, etc. (or even telescopes).

I have one moon shot...it's not that great...but it has an air
of eerieness...is that a word?...about it.

It's called a Harvest Moon...
