(X-posted in Illinois > Chicago forum)

I'll always have a soft spot for Chicago. We lived in near Diversey Harbor for 3 years. Loved the summers. The winters, not so much. Worked at the Sears Tower -- took the 151 or 156 bus to work. Hung out at the Barnes & Noble on Diversey & Clark. Frequented Cousin's, Reza's, Big Bowl, and many other hole-in-the-wall places that I don't even remember the names of.

John Hancock & northside skyline from Navy Pier:

Skyline from Fullerton Beach:

Union Carbide Building:

Downtown from the John Hancock:

Sears Tower:

Lakeshore Drive & Lincoln Park:

Prudential Building & Aon Center:

Tribune Tower:

Rush hour:

Shadows of the El:

The Flamingo:

Diversey Harbor:

Magnificent Mile:

Free summer fireworks over Navy Pier:

Steve-o, I know you got some!

Mine suck compared to yours. haha That would be like parking a Neon next to a Viper. haha

One question... are you sure that first pic is from Navy Pier? Looks soooo far out. Were you on a boat maybe? I just dont recall Navy Pier sticking that far out. Im probably wrong... its been so long since Ive been to Navy Pier.

Yes, it actually was from Navy Pier. It was on the "other" side, the northern side of Navy Pier, almost from the very end.

Those are great shots Fuzz. I've been to Chicago many times, but I was driving a tractor trailer and couldn't wait to get out of there. LOL

I like being able to virtually check out a city. I've never been to Chicago.
It looks like a nice area as well.

I love the B&W shots!...the one under the bridge or train tracks???... with the light coming through, looks really cool!

Nice shots! Me and my mom are gonna be visiting Chicago on the 28th! We'll be there for 4 days, and we'll be seeing both a Cubs and White Sox game. We're big time baseball fans and I'm determined to visit every major league park! Can't wait to see Wrigley in person.
