I remember when all three of my daughters tried to get the Wedding Photographers to do the "non-staged" photos. All three insisted on the pre-planned list. Well........that is ok for some shots....... Our favorite shots over the years (and many weddings) have been the ones no one posed for.
All the bridesmaids walking down the walkways alongside the Victorian homes.......
The groom leaning back on the fence outside the reception area....... The girls gathered together having fun........Many were taken by us or by others cameras.......The photographers missed some great and moving shots.

Funny ......But.......I got the best shot of my daughter and the bridal party in four golf carts......
taking off laughing......all in a line. Everyone so gleeful. I remember telling that photographer...
Ah....I got that one! ( I had to drag out the camera because I just KNEW I wanted those shots and no one was going to take them..panoramic shot) Quite a few others we captured.....Her walking with her husband outside with her long veil flowing backwards.... The casual shot she liked of her and her husband outside by the fountain was totally blurred and out of focus. The photographer didn't catch it properly.
I think they get so set on that list of posed shots.......all those really good ones bite the dust.
We just couldn't find one photographer that would let the day go as it may........Pose, Pose, Pose....

I'm curious, is there no theme this month? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Default June's Theme - Misplaced

For example, it could mean something is missing (a lost sneaker/missing wallet), something that doesn't belong (a chess piece on a checker board/beer at a wine bar), or something abstract (lost time).

Let me know if you have any questions!
