June 2011 "in your Home State" Contest - Place your photos in this thread

Quote:
Rules To The "In Your Home State" Monthly Contest

Post your pictures in the appropriate thread.

Please read the appropriate DISCUSSION THREAD to be up to date before posting. You may post as many photographs in the discussion thread but the actual contest thread is limited.

The theme in the "In Your Home State" is photographs which you took of your state for U.S.A. entries or your country for those outside the U.S.A.

All photographs must have been taken within 30 days of the date you submitted them. The contest will end at the end of the month.

To be able to stay on a monthly schedule, the last day for submitting entry photographs will be five days before the end of the month, ie, if the month ends on the 30th then photos must be submitted no later than the 25th. If the month ends on the 31th then photos must be submitted no later than the 26th. Etc...

(NOTE I HAVE JUST CHANGED THE THREE DAY TO FIVE DAY)

The poll will be opened the day after last day for submitting entry photographs.

Two photographs per contest and one vote per member. You may not vote for yourself.

If desired you may add your ©copyright signature to your photograph when sharing over the internet.

Please add your title and any information that you want to share. We do enjoy knowing

You have 90 minutes to alter your post. If you need help with the title or information, just DM me Poncho_NM and I will fix it for you.

Do not use the entry thread for discussions. There is a separate thread to be used for discussions.

If you have an suggestions, you may DM me Poncho_NM .

Default The Capt Dennis

Independent Shrimp Dock, Georgetown SC. Perhaps the last generation of a long tradition, most of the shrimpers are being driven away by high fuel costs and the glut of cheap imported shrimp. Over 90% of the shrimp consumed in the US are now frozen farm-raised imports, chemically treated with steroids and antibiotics. Photo taken 6.9.2011
(Note to self: Do not procrastinate again this month)

Few day old deer fawn in the peach orchard...this teeny tiny deer was hiding in the tall grass around one of the peach trees we were culling. poor little deer wobbled over to the next row of peach trees for safety...we moved to the far side of the orchard so momma could come back!
