There was a Realtor who contacted me from City-Data, but somehow he just faded away (go figure?).
Does anyone know a really, really knowledgeable Realtor that works basically with all the 55+ communities in the Phoenix area?
I need one as does my friend. We are both 65 and 69, respectively, single females and very active. We each want our only places, neither one of us play golf but activities are important.

If the realtor contacted you first then he probably got a warning telling him it wasn't allowed. If you contacted him first, then yes, he faded away. The rules for Real Estate Agents on here are as follows:
Real Estate Agents and other businesses will not advertise their services nor solicit business in their posts. Create a free business profile by going to https://www.city-data.com/profiles/add and fill out your forum profile instead. Do not include links to your websites, MLS listings, etc. in your posts. Do not try to push the envelope by attempting to hide your intentions. Do not solicit business by DMs. Show your knowledge about the area and help people and you will get leads naturally. Real estate agents should join the usergroup for them here: https://www.city-data.com/forum/profi...editusergroups . It will set your user title and add an icon next to your name, so you will get free advertising with your posts.
So you will just have to search the site and read the posts from the agents on here and if you like what they write, then contact one or more of them. Then you can decide who you want to give your business to. Although, other posters can certainly refer you to someone as well.
