I forgot to ask someone when we were out there this week. I have been thinking that water out there must be very expensive, so is it? What about electric and gas? If you have a grass yard does it require meticulous maintenance in the summer, as in a huge water bill?

Thank you. That's not bad at all, and definitely better than here.

My utilities are a lot cheaper when compared to Arrowhead. I was paying a lot more for electricity when I had APS. Seriously, I was living in a much smaller home (1500 sq feet smaller) and I was paying nearly $70 more per month.

$150 electric
$70 Gas
$80 water sewer garbage

Water is way cheaper than you would think in this drought-stricken desert. My Tempe water/sewer/trash bill is less than 50 per month. My house is about 2000 square feet, no grass outside (except the unwanted stuff that sprouts in the desert landscaping. I pay 110 a month for electric on a year round plan, works out fine.
