We are currently looking at leaving Canada for Desert Ridge. We are heading down next week to look more, but I was hoping for your thoughts on the Fireside development and the Wildfire Elementary school. We are used to hibernating up here so looking for an area where we can be outside with the kids, meet other families with lots of sports/activites in the community.

I don't know about the specifics, but I do know it's a nice area! I used to do all my shopping there until I moved to N. Glendale. It's a bit busy for my tastes though = traffic.
