Freedom in Maricopa County Island (Mesa: 2015, place to live, rated)

I want to thank all the people who contributed to turning me on to the freedom in Maricopa County Unincorporated, particularly on the Maricopa County island near the East Mesa / AJ border. I can clearly remember January of 2015 searching for a place to live and never imagining even a place as wonderful as this. I got here March 31st 2017 and fell into a deep depression that lasted about 5 months. I came from Southern California and the culture shock was overwhelming. When I woke up I realized I was years away from back that I lost in California. In fact it was hard to believe it was the year it was. At first for a long time I thought it was the 60's again. I just wanted to say thank you. This website really helped me. I have tried to get back on to thank everyone and I could not get logged in or re-registered to save my life but it worked today. These are the beautiful people here in Arizona. I continue to be amazed everyday to this day. By the way I don't wear a mask. And 99.9% of the time don't get treated any different for it. Complaints? well I do get tired of everything that can be painted is painted brown. I could understand if it was painted white that would make sense with the heat. And I'd like to think it's because they love the desert and they want to match the desert, but color is so wonderful. There needs to be more color. I'll start with me.
