Does anyone have information about a NEW LA FITNESS gym coming to N. Phoenix near the I-17 and Happy Valley Rd?? I have tried contacting the company and they are very tight lipped about it.

Thanks

I haven't heard anything. That would be great if there was one there. We need it!

Default new gym

LA Fitness corporate office is very tight-lipped about it, but I have called several of their local gyms, and ALL of the salespeople I have spoken with have confirmed that one is coming to that area, but they are not specific about where it will actually be built.

I understand it will be at I-17 and Pinnacle Peak, on the east side of I-17.

Yeah, I'd say it will be to the East of the Walmart up there. There is a ton of land, lots of new developement. They are in the process of building a huge apartment community. Atleast it looks like that's what there is....maybe condos? I doubt it though. Also, there are two new hotels right S. of the Walmart on Pinnacle Peak as well. Funny how they can just start building this stuff in the middle of nowhere and you actually forget it was empty land in the first place.....

Yeah, they are building an apartment complex and a condo complex across the street. The hotels are east of there and another one right on Pinnacle Peak over near 19th ave. I can't believe how much has been built in a short amount of time.

I had heard a rumor that they were building one at the El Caro Commercial Center on Northern and 22nd Ave. on the old GC, next to the new Circle K. That would probably mean they would be closing the existing one at 23rd Ave & Las Palmaritas (500 yards away).
