I am looking at homes in Surprise in the area immediately north of Peoria Avenue in various HOAs (Copper Canyon, Rancho Gabriela and Greer Ranch) between Lithcfield & Reems.

The area just south of Peoria Avenue seems to be in Glendale and is not developed. This is not far from and may even be in the noise contours of Luke. Is that land undevlopable or are there plans to devlop later. How can I find out?

Thanks for any help.

The areas that you see with lots of big trees and green farmland will stay that way for the foreseeable future.

It is the buffer zone for Luke AFB, this due to Luke being the largest fighter training base in the entire world!

Hope this helps.

Thanks JDish.

Does that mean the town of Glendale owns the land?
