Are there any nurses working in the Phoenix area that can tell me what the pay is like for nurses working in the Phoenix area? (Hospital wages) The typical pay for a nurse in the Pacific Northwest, new grads start out around 26.99, and the pay can go up to 40 something an hour depending on night shift and experience.

Can anyone give me some insight to what the pay is like in Phoenix?

I have seen jobs listed for the same as you stated and higher. Go to jobing.com and you will find plenty of nursing jobs for the range you are looking for. My wife is also in the profession, although we are still living in California. Looks like my wife will have no problem finding work. I also work in healthcare but in the facilities and construction end of the business. Still looking for a job that will meet my pay here in California.

Thanks, this is helpful to know if I was a traveling nurse, but I will be looking for a stable permanent position in one hospital. I see that this company was trying to screw travel nurses, so it's a good idea to maybe stay away from working for this company.
