Other than places like he Princess Resort, that charges to see the lights, are there any neighborhoods or places around Phoenix that have great light displays?

A street in Gilbert (Morrison Ranch) recently won the ABC contest, 13 houses synchronized to music. I don't have a link but you may be able to Google it. Also Upland Rd in Chandler near 101 & Ray.

Moon Valley is the best neighborhood for lights by far. Go on Christmas Eve when the luminaries line the streets. It is a fun experience! The decorations are amazing.

The Gilbert one was fun and awesome. It's all synchronized to music-Christmas on Comstock. It's a short street, but very awesome to see. Be prepared for a long wait in a long line of cars.

There is a map at AZCentral. Google it! My wife and I checked out a few places last night near us. Some were disappointments, but some were more than we expected! On a few blocks, we saw houses that we liked even more than the ones that were featured on the map. There were blocks where it seemed that one family had inspired others to go all out. They would be hard to find without a map. Best.

Yep. Always a great Christmas tradition. Lot's a families plus the food trucks across the street on north side of Main, plus there is Dairy Queen right by it where you can stop and get some ice cream. We went this past weekend and there was lots of stuff going on in downtown Mesa just west of it also. Carolers and other fun stuff by the Mesa Arts Center.

Another place we like to go is off Warner in South Tempe. Some of the big houses put on awesome displays. There is also a house in Equestian Estates in Ahwatukee that does a very impressive display and we always stop at that one. It's tucked back in there but a definite hidden gem (if you can call a ridiculously decked out house with lights a "hidden" gem!).
