Try this hotel. It's just a couple of miles south of where you are looking at. We don't have that many hotels up here. I think there is a closer one though, but I don't know the name. Next time I drive by it I'll look that way

Okay, the other hotel is the Days Inn at I-17 and Deer Valley. 21636 North 26th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Couldn't find a phone number. But this would put you real close to Barry Goldwater HS.

I'm scared to ask but, any comments on Barry Goldwater HS? We are trying to stay at the house we will be renting but we didn't get a response, we need a backup.

Supposively they are taking the house off the market when we move in. If I like the house, I was going to ask if they are willing to rent with option to buy. Could I request to put the rent towards the down payment? They are asking $390,000 for a 3 bd. 2 bath, 2 car garage, den/office, fridge etc. Unfortunetely we can only afford $200-$250 at this time. Any guess how much they probably bought this house for. It was built in 2004.

Thanks again, I can't believe we are moving in 2 months.

I PM'd you with some info.

But I was looking at some houses on the market in that area for that price and most were bought for around $230-260 in early 05. If they bought it in 04 than it was probably a bit cheaper than that. A lot of "values" were doubled in the last 2 years to 3 years. Yes, I know, it's totally rediculous that the same house is "worth" twice as much in a just a couple of years. It sickens me sometimes (because we bought at the tail end of our boom).

Go ahead and ask them if they are interested in making a deal with you. But watch out for greedy people that want to "cash out" on overappreciated homes. A lot of them want every penny of what they believe they "earned."

Good luck!
