Are there any theaters in Phoenix that kick people out for talking\texting\etc and doesn't allow kids in? Honestly I just wanna watch a movie in ****ing silence without some ****bag saying, "omgosh did you see that?" after every plot development, or some tired couple who's given up on life letting their disabled kid moan loudly in the corner. Or ****ing people who jerk off their straws when they're out of soda like they're going to milk some more out of their cup, and then proceed to struggle to open their smuggled crinkling bag of candy with their sausage fingers. Seriously, how many inconsiderate, mouth breathing, slack-jawed knuckle-draggers can there be? How many times do I have to go up to them and tell them to not talk?

Anyways, are there such theaters around for people who like an immersive experience?

Damn shame, isn't it, Shaftie?

Considering what theaters charge nowadays, especially for the snacks, etc, you would think they would enforce some level of respect for the other guy.

Sadly, I have a feeling Suzy Q is probably correct.

^^^ The number of families who have that is the reason theaters can't afford to kick out paying customers no matter how rude they are.

Try going to the movies in Pittsburgh. People bring their dinner in and throughout the film the old ladies are yelling, "Marvin! What did she say, Marvin? I can't hear with all that music!! Marvin, wake up and pay attention."

While I don't go to a lot of movies I have been to my fair share recently and I've experienced none of what is being described. I never go to a movie on opening weekend so that may have something to do with it.

Because of this, we typically only go to the movies during the week in the middle of the day. Hardly anyone else is in the theater, so makes for a much more pleasant experience.

LOL....strong first post is strong indeed.

A lot depends on what time you go to the movies, what area you're going to be in...etc. However, if you're going on a Friday or Saturday night to a brand new film opening, don't count on a great experience.

Generally, weekday's are the best by far, I like to go on my off days if I can, in the morning sometimes if I REALLY want to see a movie and don't want to have someone else spoil it for me. Early times on the weekends work as well, or a movie that's been out for two or three weeks, by that time the crowds are far more settled and relaxed..

I quit going years ago because of rude behavior. Last punk kicking the back of my wife's seat almost got a whopping after I asked him nicely twice to knock it off.

Sit in the expensive seats at the iPic. No issues there and you have a waiter that can take care of riff raff for you if they happen to get in.
