Hello,
I work from home and need to decide between two apartment complexes and I'm hoping we have some former/current tenants.

The Dakota at Camelback vs. Arcadia Cove (44th St.).

I know about apartment rating websites but they seem untrustworthy so I figured I'd give this a shot.

Thanks!

I lived in a 2nd floor 1bedroom at Arcadia Cove about 12 years ago. The apartment was nice, but it could be noisy. Get the 3rd floor. It's a ***** moving into or carry groceries etc, but you won't hear someone on top of you.

Since I've been looking at condos in Phoenix, I've seen some for sale at Dakota at Camelback. That would indicate to me that not all the places there are rentals but some (many?) are lived in by owners. I would think that things are generally a little calmer in places where residents own rather than rent, so other things being equal, I'd choose a condominium over a place that is strictly a rental apartment. But please note: I say this never having lived in either place. I'm just pointing out a generalization that might apply and be helpful to you, especially given you work at home.
