Hey everyone,

Yeah I sound like an alcoholic but a few of my buddies and I are hitting up Phoenix and Vegas, anyways we want to pick up about 6 bottles of rum, the ones in the big jug with the handle. Where would be the cheapest place to pick these up? We have a car so driving to somewhere specific isn't an issue, thanks.

check prices at places like total wine, sportsman, bevmo and also look to see if any of the supermarkets are running specials in their ads

a little bit of internet time could narrow it down

i like total wine because you can purchase online and they'll box it up for you - then you just swing by and grab it

they have 1.75L of "American Pride" for $11 with a ton of other options for "handles" under $15 ..... the basic Bacardi handles are running about $16

yeah .... part of the reason why I had to start looking into buying online is because everytime I would go in there to browse I'd become distracted and just wander ... maybe taste some wine, check out the bourbons in stock and then stare at the overwhelming number of beer singles

online I can browse by a style, find what I want and then be in and out when I swing by the store .... instead of having to eat dinner an hour later than I had planned.........

What kind of Rum are you looking for? If you're not looking for fancy stuff Costco is cheap and they have standard Rum and about three versions of spiced Rum. Otherwise, Total Wine will have everything you need.
