I decided to put this in its own new thread as the main PhoenixMart thread is getting VERY long and this is pretty important news on this project that I thought many would like to see...

PhoenixMart – Revolutionizing Wholesale Distribution – Casa Grande, AZ – EXTENSIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, PHOENIXMART, MOVES FORWARD WITH EB-5 APPROVALS

Still a few months until groundbreaking (which actually we had hoped for over a year ago), but sounds like it is still alive and well...

Good news - 3K jobs for AZ!

This is the first I've ever heard about this and I'm not even quite sure what it is but seems like major news. What exactly is it? Looks like a giant mall but for businesses? I'm confused.

Could this actually be a negative for Phoenix with the possibility of pulling jobs/conferences/etc away or would Phoenix stand to benefit more as being the transportation hub for this?

Probably a combination of the two. It will encourage sprawl to Casa Grande but the good thing is that the reservation is in the way. Phoenix (and Tucson) still will have most of the infrastructure.
