Curious to know if noise from jets are heard in Estrella mountain ranch if so how bad is it.Was reading post about the new jets that will be training at base.We have visited the community and we loved it.Hopefully looking to make Estrella our future home.

Yes. You can hear them if you are outside and they go overhead. They are pretty high up by the time they get over Estrella though. I never notice them at all in the house. The other airborne noise source is small planes buzzing the development (sightseeing?) and the 747s landing and taking off from Goodyear airport now and then. Again, not something you would notice unless you happened to be outside. By and large , it is pretty quiet out here.

I lived in PebbleCreek right off the runway and it never really bothered me.

I live at EMR going on two years now. Honestly, it is easy enough to forget Luke AFB is even in the vicinity given how quiet it generally is.

Thanks for your input retiring at an early age within two years.We think Esrella mountain ranch will be our place and trying to find as much info as I can.
