Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a really good hair salon for hair cuts and color that they are happy with (and reasonably priced)- that is in NE Phx or North Scottsdale area. I'm trying to get my hair cut into an A-line angled bob.
I recently started going to an Organic salon but they are just to pricey.
Hair cuts are $55 there. She did a really good job on my first cut but this last time I felt like she just kinda rushed through my cut and the color isn't wow either. Cut and color was $165 too-
Needless to say I'm not going back.
The hair salon doesn't need to be organic.
I'm more concerned with my hair being cut right and how I want it.
Also my color looking good too.

She's not in your desired area, but I've followed the same stylist for over five years, from Tempe, and now to Gilbert. I gladly drive 30 miles every six weeks to see her.
She specializes in color, is meticulous, and extraordinarily pleasant (and not at all flaky). Her name is Amy Sue, and she currently works at
Salon Amore in old town Gilbert. I know - a long way - but she's soooo worth it!

I moved here a few months ago and have been going to Marnie at Icon Hair Architexture in The Summit shopping center in North Scottsdale. She's been cutting hair for 23 years, so she knows what she's doing and she does quite well with hair color too. It's $120 for cut and color, and they use Aveda products if that makes a difference.
