I am a little new to the area so I was hoping for a littlea advice.

I am having some outdoor family pictures taken for Easter and I would love to do it an outside location. When we moved here we did a shoot at DC Ranch in Scottsdale so I do not want a repeat location.

I have twin toddlers so something grassy would be best. Basically would like a beautiful view for the background.

Any suggestions? We are in the East Valley but will travel.

If not too far the fountain park in fountain hills works fairly well

Val Vista Lakes, perhaps, in Gilbert. Send Captain Bill a direct message for details.

Another spot that's fun for Easter, especially if there are kids involved, are the big rabbit sculptures and the water feature at Centerpoint in downtown Tempe.

Val Vista Lakes has the waterfalls background that is used for photo shoots all the time. On Val Vista Drive between Mission Bay and Lakeside Drive there is a public view of the waterfalls where the photos can be taken for free.

Inside the grounds there is the "grassy oval" that's used for wedding receptions and it also has the waterfall for background. There's also the lake and a sandy lagoon pool area.

To utilize the facility inside the grounds you would need permission and probably a reasonable fee for non-residents. Contact the clubhouse for details 480 926 9693

Thanks you for the great ideas! This sounds nice and so does downtown Temple with the rabbits.

No go for the Fountain in Fountain Hills...I live right by it and wake up to it right outside my window lol I'll pass on that but it is a nice area!!

Yeah, it is beautiful but I checked prices and it is really high! Mainly because there are 6 people.

Thank you for the suggestion though!
