We are in the process of moving to Philly and are looking for FURNISHED temporary housing in an apartment building for 2 - 3 months. We found availability in Rittenhouse Claridge but no parking was available. Willing to commute 30 -40 minutes if anyone has a suggestion in the burbs. We are looking for a safe area, apartment that allows dogs, and a 2 bedroom preferred. Thanks in advance!

If you are living and working in Center City, you won't need your car...at least not often. You could park your car on the street further out somewhere if that was the only sticking point. I believe you could get a residential parking permit as well. Now if you will need your car daily, that is a different situation.

Did you check all the chains? Like Korman?

Is it that you don't know how to find locations or you can't find availability?

https://www.corporatehousing.com/pa/philadelphia

I see this only has unfurnished availability but you can rent furnishings from a corporate rental place. Like Cort . https://www.cort.com/furniture-rental

https://korman3737.com/floor-plans/

Korman and other chains are all over the place including NJ would be an easy commute. But when I was looking in December it was an EXTREMELY tough market.

If you found availability that you LIKE, you should take it and put your car into storage somewhere. There's a million places like Public Storage type deal. OR you can just park your car at any parking garage on a monthly basis.

Craig's List has a sublet category but beware of scams.

Thanks all - I found several places in Malvern. The Royal Worthington & Radwyn. Also there is 4 different options in Wayne (no dogs allowed). With VRBO and air bnb, corporate housing is a tough hunt.

Looks like you conceded on your preference for a commute under 40 minutes but you will have the breathing room to explore more permanent options closer in.
