Hello, I've enjoyed all of everyone's help in researching in the past as we finally get closer to relocating to the Philadelphia area from Boston.

We plan on renting for 6-12 months before buying a home somewhere, and we're pretty sure that ideally we'd like to end up somewhere due north of Philly within 40-45 minutes of CC-- Lower Bucks or Lower Montco (as opposed to Delco, nothing against it just too far from her family in Connecticut). We've also ruled out NJ simply because then that would put us too far from my family in upper Montco. So Lower Bucks/Montco seems like a good balance while still being close to the city.

At this point we are focused on finding a good place to temporarily call home while we rent-- our price range is $1000-1150/mo for a 2 bedroom apartment and we have a strong preference for apartment complexes since they generally have some type of outdoor space on the property for our daughter to play. We've found some places that we may check out in the near future in Warminster, Levittown, and Bensalem.

What are these towns like in terms of living there short-term? We will have a car but it would be nice if there was Septa service relatively close by as well as some walkable "town square" type areas within a short drive. Although schools will be a consideration when we buy, they are not at the moment for our rental. What are commutes like from these areas?

I know Sesame Place is nearby in Langhorne so that's nice-- we've been there once and our daughter loved it.

Any help is appreciated in advance!
