Monthly Bills not including CC cards
Utilities- $450 Heat and electric for both units. (Remember heating oil was over $4.50 per gallon this summer.)
Groceries-$600 per month (includes MIL)
Car- $588 until May 09... $306 thereafter (2 cars, one paid off by next Spring)
Car Insurance- $160 monthly
Cable/Internet/Phone- $150
Cellphone $112

I agree with the others, pay down your credit card bills with the highest interest first, consolidate the others, cut up the cards as you pay them off, and stick with one low interest credit card.

Next reduce your monthly expenses. Get the cable/internet/phone under $100 per month. Can you get by on basic cable or no cable during this precarious time? Do you really need home phone service and cell phone service? We primarily use our home phone and have a pay as you go cell phone we use for emergencies and pay about $100 a year for it. Ifyou can reduce these two monthly expenses you'llbe amazed athowmuch money you can save - approx. $150 per month.

Live off one salary and save the other. It's hard, but doable with some sacrifice. Best wishes.
