FDIC insurance covers all deposit accounts, including checking and
savings accounts, money market deposit accounts and certificates of deposit. The
standard insurance amount is $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each
account ownership category.

So if I have 3 different accounts (1 money market savings, 1 money market savings/checking and 1 checking) with Capital 1, joint with my husband is our insured amount $250,000 or is it $750,000, or is it $1,500,000?

If they are all Joint accounts it 250K total.

You can get the 750K by doing 1 joint, one in your name, one in his.
