Search the unclaimed funds website on the net, it should be there.

Looks like it was taken over by Wachovia - now Wells Fargo. If you can't find your name on the unclaimed funds site online (try missingmoney dot com), try calling the 1-800 number for Wells Fargo & tell them you're trying to track down abandoned/unclaimed property.

I'm happy to tell you that missingmoney.com got me 60.00+ dollars that I forgot I had in an account. Found money for my granddaughter from a former job; for a dtr in law; and for a former employer.

When you go into missingmoney, you'll be prompted to the state where you had the account. Look for your name. Now, you'll have to prove it's yours. You'll print out a few pages of claim forms, copies of your ID and Bob's your uncle! You can even track where the refund is in the pipeline. One day, you'll open your mailbox and there's your check. Go for it and good luck.
