I found in the Ellis Iland records that in 1894 a family of VERHAVERT's arrived in Pittsburgh. In 1903 I find them in Bell-Vernon.
Can anyone help me with finding more information about this family in that region?
Thank you for the information. The family that came through Ellis Iland is the one I also found. I have a copy from the ships manifest.
Is there a website where I can get the information of the persons that came through Boston and Canada?
I just looked at Ancestry.com and I see Verhavert's making border crossings from Canada into the US and also Boston Passenger Lists. It definitely appears that they all arrived around the 1900's by various means.
Your Welcome..and yup thats what I was going to tell you Jan.. is go to Ancestry.com there is a few names there from Canada into the US.. BUT you may not see this unless you get the trial subscription or buy a membership..I am not sure how that works.. I have a full membership to ancestry.. but don't know how the trial thing works..
