Can anyone recommend a summer camp in the Media, PA area for a 3 yr. old & 4 yr. old? How is the Main Line YMCA?

Do you mean a ship them off in June and pick them up in August camp, or a daytime activity home by 4PM camp?

I don't think there are any sleep away camps for pre-schoolers Nowadays, even most sleep away camps are only for one or two weeks and children have to be at least going into second grade. But a week or so of day camp would sure be fun.

With my trusty google search engine I came up with these links:
http://www.theschoolinrosevalley.org/
and http://www.metrokids.com/kidsncare05/campsde_nj_pa05.html (broken link)

Your best source for referrals are probably people that live near you. Maybe you could go down to the local bus stop some morning and ask parents then.

Thanks for the web links. I'm actually asking for a friend who is moving to the area. I live in Bucks County and don't know anyone who lives out there to ask.

We lived near Media for 6 years, in Garnet Valley School district. My oldest son attended St. John's pre-school and I think they had a summer camp but this was awhile ago. We lived about 15 minutes from Media so if your friend moves to the west side of Media, perhaps it would work. Another popular preschool was Elam United Methodist church. I did a Mom's day out with them and my youngest child: http://home.comcast.net/~elamumc/

Here's the info about St. John's

Just wondering?? why some one in Gary Indiana, would post in the PA Forum (and a 6 year old one also). Looking for a camp?

700 miles from them. Thats got to be a long drop/pickup each day...
