FORT WORTH, Texas, April 8 (UPI) -- Officials with a Texas school district said a group of high school cheerleaders was disciplined for giving urine-tainted drinks to teammates.

Administrators said at least two girls at Fort Worth's Saginaw High School received in-school suspensions and an unspecified number of their fellow cheerleaders received lesser punishments for serving sodas contaminated with a cheerleader's urine to their teammates during a basketball game late last year, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Thursday.

Suspended??? They should be expelled. If I was a victim or my child, I'd be checking to see if criminal charges could be pressed. Disgusting and perhaps dangerous - diseases, health factors...

You would have to be a moron to think putting your urine in other peoples drinks was a good idea. Morons shouldn't be cheerleaders, period, and probably can't handle the rigors of school either. Is this because Texas loves some cheerleaders? They shouldn't....they aren't worth it.

I agree! Not only is dangerous..but it's SO immature! Grow up ladies, you're in high school now.

If that were my child who did that (let's hope my child NEVER does something as wrong as this) there would be serious consequences.

This is a level above "prank" IMO. The headline needs to reflect the maliciousness of the deed.
