I am trying to figure out the reasons people have children.

So what are the reasons?

To keep the human race going, they believe kids are a blessing to them, or they just want to have kids.

because you start to get a feeling that you want to start a family. when being a couple is no longer "enough". when you want to start a new adventure in your life that will change you in ways you can never imagine until you hold that child for the first time and realize you hadnt lived until this moment and this is the reason why you were put on this earth.

Because children are good at washing dishes and doing laundry around the age of 7 or 8, and then you get a 10-year or so reprieve from doing those chores!

Because of the join of having and raising kids. Even if it is a lot of work, it is worth it.
