Thanks for posting this. Everyone knows this happens but people tend to not think about it or dismiss it really quickly so they can get on with feeling better about themselves. Hard, depressing stuff working oncology and critical / chronic care in general.
Hard to feel "blessed" when this poor kid and many many others go through these terrible treatments and fight for another day and complete pieces of **** live without any issues. I really wish there was more apparent justice in this world.
