I would never insinuate myself on my family like this, especially with toddlers; don't you have two more older kids and a wife as well?
yep. but they are fine. they usually stay up all night with cousins playing games and all that stuff. when you're older like that, you fall asleep anywhere.

So there are 6 of you... and since you said cousins, 4+ people already at the place you are staying? 10+ people in a two bedroom place for over a week? That sounds awful.
Yeah, over a week sleeping on someone's floor sounds unbearable for both you AND the hosts. I would never impose my family of five on someone's house (especially if it's only a two bedroom!) for over a week unless it were some sort of emergency. I'd find a hotel.
Just took a trip with a 1 year old. $40 pack and play from Walmart delivered to where we were going. Luckily it could stay with the In-Laws for the next time we need it (or for their other grandchildren).
Mattress/airbed on the floor. That's where my kid always sleeps when we visit my parents. Used a travel cot when she was 1.
No guest room but I sleep on a sofa bed in the dining room.
Sounds like my worst nightmare ~ I would NEVER do it for anything!
