If they're not in the same class next year, then that girl won't have the same chance to get your daughter into trouble, but she's not too young for a little conversation about peer pressure, maybe not naming it that way, but just saying, "If your friend does something that you know you shouldn't do, you don't have to do it too. If someone says you have to do something bad so you can keep being friends, that person isn't a true friend." That way she can think about it over the summer and then next year she might be able to avoid those kinds of situations with other kids.

Anytime a child's behavior changes drastically (I am assuming this is not her norm) there is something going on. Recently I found out my youngest was being bullied. His behavior change was the first sign. He's normally a sweet kid but he was acting out and fighting with his sisters over the stupidest stuff. Talk to her and see if there is something else going on. Maybe this girl is bullying her. If so, talk to the principal about it for a thorough investigation.
