Which? My friend? I'm sure its in the court transcripts, the father was recently released too so there are more records based on his release and parole. How a man who rapes his own blood gets only 15 years is absurd. There are people in prison on non violent drug offenses serving longer sentences. no wonder our society is so messed up.
Amen! That is one thing I absolutely HATE about America. We view drugs as THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING. in existence! Rape, murder, genocide...pfft, that's nothing compared to the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL drugs!!!
Someone wants to take drugs and screw up their lives/kill themselves? Good for them! But we shouldn't be footing the bill for their screw up.

Yup exactly. I was just watching forensic files and a mother killed two of her infant daughters. Both times she claimed they were "kidnapped". When in reality she smothered them because her husband didn't like girls and kicked her out of their bed after she had both girls. She was only charged with one and received 15 years. On the other hand, there was a woman who escaped a violent abusive husband who beat her and the children. She didn't have anywhere to go except for one relatives house. The relatives husband was a drug dealer. There was a raid and all of them were arrested. All given 25 years to life. Didn't matter she wasn't dealing and only had been there for a few weeks.
That's what we do. Then the kids grow up with a parent in jail and we wonder why they are so messed up. But we can release child sex offenders, murderers, etc in less time.

That's where we need to evaluate legal technicalities, such as the texas case.
Somebody please explain to me how you make your child go to school? Are you supposed to quit your job and accompany your child to each of their classes? No matter how much you discipline your child or tell them how important it is to go to school things change when they walk out that door. The people who made this law have lost touch with the real world.
I mean seriously what state you get fined in, for not sending your kid to school. You do not even have your kids taken away for that stuff. I mean their are tons of ways to deal with that.
