How many things are on your kids Christmas wish list? And what age are they?

My kiddo doesn't yet know how to want stuff at stores, so hers is not very long.

I've run into other kids that have about 70 items on the list, which is a lot.

What about your kid?

My 10-year-old has about 8 things on his list.

The teens have a couple of things on their lists, but they are big items like Macbook etc.

My son is 4, whenever he sees something he likes in the store, I tell him to ask Santa - he usually never remembers that he wants them after leaving the store though. Really he only has two things on his Christmas list - big blocks and a Furby. Somehow he caught the Furby bug (I'm not sure how) and that is the only thing he really wants.

When my children were young they usually had lists with 3 to 6 items. Sometimes the lists were a little longer if the items were really small or were related such as "Baby Doll", Baby Doll clothes".

If they asked for something large the list usually had the one large item "Nintendo player" plus "stocking stuffer type items".

The top of my son's list this year?

Snow tires and money toward college texts. The list gets smaller but the pricetag goes up.

Short lists, but more expensive items, like ipads.

My daughter's list is long, but she knows she won't get half of it. Some of the items have been on the list a few years. She has varied interests and the most expensive item is 100$. The rest are 5$-50$.

They gave me pretty long lists, with items varying from $5-500. Of course they won't get everything on the list, but having a lot of concrete ideas sure beats returning a bunch of stuff because they don't think they'll use/wear it...

Our children never had a list, they received what the giver wanted to give them.
