Eh, seems to me it's just a virtual version of a doll I had when I was six or so that came with make-up and hair styling tools. As for when make-up is acceptable, my daughter first expressed interest when she was 12, so I took her shopping for a set of natural, light colors. Her enthusiasm soon flagged, and now that she's in high school, I rarely see her wear it. She seems to take after me in that regard. I HATE wearing make-up.
