maybe it was a joke and thought funny at the time but it was stupid on the mothers part .. and the reaction was to be expected ( cps coming in on it)
shows the dangers of places like facebook doesnt it? SOMEBODY got mad enough to make the call .. ..
hope the kid is ok and hope the mom has learned to not trust online folks to far ..

People need to relax. Bongs are legal, aren't they? (if not in use, I mean) Sure, it was stupid to put it on Facebook, but this sounds blown way out of proportion.

Not that I'm one for promoting substance abuse, but I sure have seen a lot of "funny" pictures of babies propped with various beer and liquor bottles. I find the bong-as-prop to be similar in this situation- REALLY bad humor, but not necessarily an indication of abuse/neglect...

Oh, I understand it's the connotation, but people still have legal rights. You have a right to take stupid, tacky, or tasteless (but legal) photos of your child.
