I rarely answer the door unless I know who it is, since the only people who stop by are my landlord and boyfriend. Thank goodness for the peephole

I really hate people who sit there for more than ten minutes, knocking or ringing the doorbell over and over. A neighbor did that once at 10:30PM to ask my dad to borrow money. Wtf lady, there's a reason I didn't answer the first time you rang the doorbell, thanks for waking my dad up!

We have gated entry, so if I'm not expecting anyone, then it's the landlord, and I alwayyyss let the landlord in.

I try to peek through the shade to see who it is first and end up making a lot of noise, so I have to open the door then.

We keep our gate locked. Nobody can knock on the door.

Nah, you don't!

I hate it when salesmen do the 'buddy' kind of knock, you know: knock knock nah knock knock---knock knock.

I must be old fashioned. I always answer the door. Always thought that was the thing to do!! But unwelcome people tend to not want to stay around me long enough for a visit.
