Heard this topic the other day on the radio and thought it would be interesting to know what weird phobias CD folks have. Now, I'm not talking about the run-of-the-mill phobias, (heights, confined spaces, insects), but ones that are really wacky or just plain weird.
One caller said she can't stand the feel of cardboard tubes that toilet paper or paper towels are rolled on. She went on to say she leaves some paper on the roll as to not touch the tube itself when throwing it away.
For me its feet, not my feet, someone else's feet. Need a foot rub? Do it yourself or find someone else to do it. I'm not touching them.
when i was younger as in small tot, my mom wore this ghastly clown make up and scared the bejeezus out of me and for a while, i had this irrational fear of clown.
I don't have any weird ones but my husband hates styrofoam - he says the squeaking noise it makes is like nails on a chalkboard to him. Not sure if that's really a "phobia", he's not really scared of it, just hates the noise... but the cardboard tube thing reminded me of it.
I keep mine between me and someone special.
But I'll give you one, when I'm swinging I can't look up at the sky cause it makes me feel like I'll fall into it and get sucked away.
