Dry your dog with them when he comes in after the rain
Buff chrome to a brilliant shine, works better than rags
Abolish tangled sewing thread : To put an end to tangled thread, keep an unused dryer fabric softener sheet in your sewing kit. After threading the needle, insert it into the sheet and pull all of the thread through to give it a nonstick coating.
Here are a few things you can do with a fabric softener sheet after you've used it in the drier: Keep drawers and luggage fresh. Wipe the lint screen of your dryer. Clean pet hair off furniture. Eliminate static cling in skirts by rubbing on pantyhose.
I'm not sure if the drawers and my luggage will fit in the washer or dryer, but I'll try that the next time I do laundry.. With furniture.. Well, I'll have to go Sears to see if they make washers and dryers large enough to put my furniture in it...
"Those sheets will soften more than fabric. The next time food gets burned onto your casserole dish, save the elbow grease. Instead fill the dish with hot water and toss in three or four used softener sheets. Soak overnight, remove the sheets, and you'll have no trouble washing away the residue. Be sure to rinse well."
Never thought about using them as drawer-luggage fresheners, but I will.
I've also used them to wipe TV and computer screens, but I prefer micro-fiber cloths for those.
Especially handy with the luggage. With some pieces of luggage, if you don't open them on a regular basis the air inside can get a little stale (especially if you had a grimey sock in there right before you closed it up and put it away).
Deter mosquitoes when gardening, etc. Rub exposed skin.
Okay, they deter mosquitoes.. we don't have them here in the part of Arizona I live in... if they deter something, can I use them to attract a potential mate, or should I stick to the traditional methods... like howling by her window at night, getting her a 6-pack of beer, or bringing her a bouguet of flowers.. that I usually take from my neighbor's front yard?
