Why are people always saying this on the Internet? How did that stupid phrase come to be? The other one, similar to it, is "I just threw up a little in my mouth".

I've heard of that. Just checked it out. You're right, teen/early 20s, but also seems to be testosterone-driven.
But yes, there is gross stuff on the Internet. Pretty much anything with a number and the word "cup" in it these days.
