It all depends on the driving conditions and situations...on the highway or in traffic in town. I nearly always drive a stick, so I'm with many others here who are either at 8 or 10 with the left, right hand on the stick.... On the highway, maybe left on 10, right resting on the cross piece at 3. If traffic is heavy and I'm more "defensive", ready for anything, 9 and 3.
I dunno. I often stick my right hand through the steering wheel someway. Makes my husband crazy. He thinks if I had an accident it would break my wrist!
Left knee at 7 right knee at 5. Left hand out window giving one finger salute. Right hand trying to find a radio station that plays something worth listening to.
Great thread BigMike. And very funny Dbl-r. I think I am going to say ten and two unless I am doing my make up. Then I use a knee... just for a short while and not very often.
I can drive blindfolded, I was born to drive....... Yes, my early days of driving a 4 speed floor shift in my super Camaro.. and lots of racing ..My left hand dominates the steering wheel, right hand free and across top of seat. I do have both hands on it when deemed necessary.
