I think it's not quite a twin, but a look-alike.
If ever I have a look-alike, she'd better not mess with my husband!

Exactly. When I was in my 30's and early 40's I was always being told who I resembled. One I got all the time was, Judith Light.

I heard I had one in St. Louis and one here. I've yet to see anyone who resembles me. I did see someone who looked like my father so much I almost freaked out when I heard his name was John and he also smoked camel cigg. He actually came to work where i was for a while. Talk about creepy.

Nothing wrong with that, she's an attractive woman.

I'm usually told that I resemble Lisa Loeb. But I think it's just because of the glasses...

My spouse is an absolute dead ringer for a former US president (I won't specify which one), and he has had all sorts of interesting experiences as a result.

When said president was a candidate, the spouse and I were eating at a restaurant, and some woman ran over to the table gushing about how she had voted for [candidate] in the primary and would he give her an autograph - then she glanced at me, did a double-take and demanded "Who's THAT and where is _______??!" (Candidate's wife)

He used to tell people that he was President's evil twin, and that all the bad things attributed to the president were really done by him. What really worried me was that some nutcase might see him some time and try to assassinate him, thinking that he really was the president. We seem to have dodged that bullet (pause for rimshot...) and the spouse now has a beard that makes him less similar to the former president, so hopefully the whole experience is behind us now.

I don't look like anyone that I've ever seen or heard of, which is a good thing for the rest of the world.

Ive been told I'm a cross between John Larroquette and Bob Vila.

There was someone who lived in our city for quite a while that was, apparently, my "twin". We looked enough alike that he got me in trouble a couple of times.

A woman that worked with my wife swore she saw me driving our car with a good-looking blond next to me. Luckily we were together at the time she said she saw us, so I was off the hook. That was the first indication we had. BTW, this guy was driving a car almost the same as ours. Not the last time he did that!

What finally clinched it was when my wife was walking downtown at lunch and saw me walking towards her. She was trying to figure why I was there since I worked quite a ways out, and was 5 feet away before she figured out it wasn't me.

Freaky.
