Or when they have to always top everyone else and be the best, most interesting, most knowledgeable and are constantly needy. After a while....you just can't give anymore.
Children I can see but when they dont' get over it and carry it on to adulthood......that becomes a bit much.

Yeah I thought you were talking about my dog, lol. She is the center of attention.
I don't like that trait in a person so I just ignore them. You can usually find me helping the host or hostess in the kitchen. I like to blend and keep busy.
