Oh golly this is a matter of personal preference here...Depending on who I am with the condition of the pie all comes into play in determining if I use a fork or not..

What is it about a knife, fork and pizza that provokes a peeve process from you Alice?

Pizza is finger food. Even children know that.

I agree with you Alice, but the fact that children put something from their hand to their mouth is not really convincing evidence.

It's downright wrong-wrong I say! You must do the pizza fold.

I find eating pizza with utensils very odd and disturbing. Next time I see someone doing that, I shall steal their pizza and demonstrate the correct way of consuming said product.

Here in Suburban Chicago you can't fold a piece of pizza. They cut pizza into 2 inch square pieces? What's with that?

AliceT, I'm so sorry this bothers you because I'm one of those annoying people.
I hardly ever touch my food. I know I'm weird, but I've never liked getting my fingers dirty. As I child I even resisted finger painting. Now, due to a chronic health condition, I must be very careful about germs, so I use utensils to eat.
Sorry! I never knew it bothered people until today.

Alice, You've must have seen me eating pizza?

My Mom taught me, she is an full blooded Italian born and raised in Brooklyn showed me the proper decent way of eating pizza with fork and knife in a public establishment.

The finger foods consist of: foods that can be picked off a plate and pop into the mouth like the frozen pizza rolls.
